I was listening to a discussion tonight on PBS concerning the slowing of the economy. The general consensus of the panel was that the economy IS slowing, and that Greenspan should step back and let the market chart its own course.

As a whole, I don't feel the congress with their inquisition style of questioning of Greenspan adds any legitimate argument for or against a stable economy. Most are up there to promote their own agenda.

There are many intangible forces at work outside of Greenspan's influence to speculate on his guarded position at this time. IMHO

A very interesting take on Greenspan. I think AG has a lot of sense.
