Skeets & all: FWIW "no name" DRAM is now at its all time low. Fully assembled PC100 64 MB (individual chips are getting to be pretty rare) can be had at $27-29 (putting 64 Mb at about $3) and PC133 64 MB at about $34-36. Haven't been following MU at all so have no idea what their costs are nowadays. Prices for PC100 64MB were about $44 at the beginning of the year. It looks like the "buy DRAM in May" trend may continue.

For the bearish: W2000 is being met with a yawn, more or less:

smartmoney.com

one of the laffers:

"but it isn't just fear of the unknown working here"

(exactly correct: it is fear of the known, i.e., Microsoft's past performance)

It will be interesting to see what happens to MU and the whole market at DJII 10000. No predictions beyond that we will get within a couple of points of it on Tuesday or Wednesday, but I will be glued to the screen.
