niceguy,

Sorry to hear about the deadline. Did they tell you it was specific to them (your broker), or is that a universal deadline, imposed by CBOE?

Joe

PS: Price Waterhouse? I thought it was one the accounting firms - now PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

niceguy,

I believe you STILL have the right to exercise the 40's.

The close was 40.25 and you are in the money.

You simply need to inform them prior to 10 am tomorrow that you want to exercise.

The option GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO BUY STOCK AT $40.00 period.

The chance you are taking is that the price on tuesday may well tank below $40.

But the likelihood is we will open well above $40.

Thats why it makes sense to exercise IMHO.

If you had a bunch of calls a $1-2 swing could be real money.

I would call them tonight and send an e-mail so there is a record if you decide to pursue it.

Good luck,

regards,

Kash Johal.
