Neenny,

"LMNOP" Our 7 year old Brian, as he was learning his alphabet, could not disassociate these letters. It took us a long time to get him to realize that these were each individual letter. He honestly thought it was a single letter.

Oh and while I am speaking of the Alphabet, Emily insisted that the end of the alphabet was.....X Y N Z. Her alphabet had two n's in it!!!

I know the reasoning behind both of those. Think about the first while reciting the alphabet the way kids are taught, a rhyme, or song. A,B,C,D, EFG, H,I,J,K, LMNOP.

In the second case, again when the alphabet is recited,or sung, it's W,X,Y, and (N) Z.

Have fun,
Phil

P.S. Nice grub.

re: LMNOP

While singing the alphabet, my niece would would say: "Elmo Pee" instead of LMNOP. I thought all kids did that...

My 2 year old recently saw a picture of me on TV and ran up to the set and kissed it. When I got home she was upset with me for not kissing her back !
