Just keep an eye on the number of outlets and the power.

My old unit is a Smart-UPS 600. It's not made any longer, but it was barely enough to handle two machines and monitors. When I replace it, my son gets it. I'm bidding for larger ones because I have more equipment to keep on-line.

The Parachute software, if it comes with what you are looking at, is designed to save and close open applications in case the UPS starts to run out of power.

I'm not familiar with this one but it's certainly inexpensive.

The current model, the 1400, retails for about $700.
