Simple, if AMD did it, it's a 3 GHz chip. Seeing as Intel did it it all bologna.

I don't really think that it is a feature worth mentioning, outside of a technical conference. It sounds like marketing went fishing.

The folks at ISSC would be very interested to hear about the details of a 330 ps ALU, but it really has little bearing on overall CPU performance.
