I can't speculate about the FPU performance, but the integer performance will scale with MHz. And Willamette will have very good MHz (Make that GHz.)

Scumbria, its sounds after reading your interpretation of the Willamette's capabilities, the only way AMD can keep up with the Willamette, at least in the GHz race, is to design a whole new chip. Is that a correction understanding?

And you also indicate that you think that the Willamette
will easily scale to 1.5 G....can you hazard a guess as to how much higher it can go at full maturity?
