- Threat of inflation is the biggest paper tiger going.

- In the 70's, with so few retailers; and almost no Wal-Mart types; higher prices were eaily passed on to the consumer

- Now, it's just the opposite. Throw in the internet. Too much free risk capital; & now I'm buying the same Dannon Yogurt for $.50 on sale; which was unheard of 15 years ago.

- Also, since our sneakers & clothing is made in developing nations; where wages are low by American standards; don't look for retail prices to come up anytime

- Please no one mention oil; which hit $30; settled around $29; & will be back under $20 in 3 months

James Bowers: Oops, can't trust SI for an edit.

Sorry for the ignorance on Dubya. The main reason I will be voting for Dubya is because the thrust of his campaign is for tax cuts. Taxes of course are the lifeline to the abusive, bloated crisis of which we face. The slowing or reversal of this course will impact this case vs. MSFT and people across the land.

In regards to A.K., I agree to some extent.

Regards,

Gary
