Jim,

I know I'm your Porch babe. :)

Just DON'T go 'round offending gays, please. Some of the unhappiest women I know are married heterosexuals, some of the happiest are "out" gays. You know, the old statistical adage "the variance within groups exceeds the variance between groups."

Can't wait to see how you do with the Southern ladies, baby doll. :))

Jim,
When I was in business school I had a woman friend in the banking business. One night we were having a beer together and talking about the evolution of women in business. She made the case that if women had more responsible positions we would live in a more humane society. It's not that women in general could not compete effectively it's just that they would not be so focused on cut throat tactics, war, and win/lose scenarios.

I think she was correct and as I see more women emerge in key positions I see more humanity. Women represent a vastly untapped resource in America (even in the North).

Regards.

Len
