The "Iron Triangle" is a code word dreamed up by Rush Limbaugh from a book on politics.
It seems that the beltway insiders who are call "mucks" use a language all their own. Something we in the real world don't understand.
The "Iron triangle" is a group of lobbyists that control a group of "power congress members" and thus can control their own special interests in the U.S.
