There is such an incredible difference between the people who do not have power but talk about what they'd do if they did, and the people who have it and wield it successfully for years. There's no one in Greenspan's class in the world. No one has the real life experience of reading the financial tea leaves, making the actual decisions, confronting angry misguided congresspeople, and living through the consequences of his decisions for the long term. No one. I would venture to say the opposite of what you say: When you get right down to it, Greenspan isn't nervous but is supremely confident because he has been so successful. He persistently sticks to his guns because he knows what he's doing. Regards Bill
