Just finished looking through Barron's, no mention of CPQ in the issue. Cover story was about the huge valuation disparity between big tech and 'just about everything else'. Consensus seemed to be that today's market far exceeds even the 'nifty fifty' surge of the 70's, and that it would narrow, one way or the other.

Regards,
John

El-- not much being said about this any more. Thankfully, CPQ is far from being classed as a leader with only 5 or so,, Sunbeam has about a dozen now and I believe LU has more also. Maybe they are close to being completed also,,, just another charge as a cost of doing business...
Compaq Computer: Five class-action lawsuits by investors who purchased
shares July 1997 through March 1998 were consolidated in federal court
in Texas. More class-action suits were filed last year on behalf of
investors buying stock during 1999. The suits allege Compaq misled
investors and inflated its stock value. Status: Most of the suits are
pending.
