Short term it means that C-Cube Semi raised some cash and has some design-in work with Thomson. The 400+k is an out right purchase of C-Cube Semiconductor shares. The warrents are contingent on design wins. Thomson will have a little less than a 3% stake in the new C-Cube Semi company. Thomson has always used C-Cube encoders, but never decoders for settops or DVD players. Thomson wants something from C-Cube. I think it's the codec. SGS Thomson doesn't have a chip that can match it. Thomson is a big OEM.

Thanks Maya...wondered what it might say. Liked the institutional pick up each quarter. Kind of contradicts the "chartists" view. Has the Chartist any history of being right or is he just a mouthpiece like TSC founder, what's his name.
