Mobo lovin' from Tyan

My inbox has been lit up today with announcements from Tyan. They've officially announce two new motherboards of note today, the S1834 Tiger and the S2380 Trinity. The S1834 is a dual P2/3 board based on the Via Apollo Pro 133A chipset. Woo! A non-i820 dual P3 board that supports a 133MHz FSB. This one could be a BP6 replacement for those of us who've outgrown our dual Celeries and want some CuMine action, but don't want to go back to a single CPU lifestyle.

The S2380 is an Athlon board, based on the VIA KX133 chipset. While not quite as exciting as the S2380, it does nix the annoying AMR slot in favor of an ISA. Both boards feature AGP 4x, 6 PCI slots, and support for up to 133MHz SDRAM. No word yet on when we can expect to see our favorite online store with these bad boys, or how much they'll cost. Thanks to Chris Tom and Michael Bechard for the links. -Gonzo
