Microforum Inc - Microforum selected by World Heart to implement software Microforum Inc MCF Shares issued 30,687,396 2000-02-18 close $12.4 Monday Feb 21 2000 Also World Heart Corp (WHT) Mr. Howard Pearl reports World Heart Corporation, the Canadian developer of the HeartSaver (VAD), a pulsatile ventricular assist device (VAD) implantable in the chest, has selected Microforum Inc. to help design, develop and implement an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution using Navision financials and Navision manufacturing software. Navision Software is an international developer and supplier of innovative, customizable enterprise business solutions that enable small- to medium-sized companies to run their businesses more effectively. Using Navision's software, Microforum will customize an ERP manufacturing solution so that it fulfills the specific business requirements of World Heart. Additionally, Microforum will implement the ERP solution so that it consolidates all of World Heart's digital operations. Implementing this business solution will allow World Heart to better monitor all of its operations resulting in improved customer service, quality control, revision tracking and lowering costs through better inventory management.
