Wildstar, Friday's plunge has given us the highest one day reading since the October low. note though that the ratios are far from what constitutes heavily oversold readings, and to work off the previous excesses we'd probably need a string of high readings to confirm a lasting bottom. also, ind. equity call volume at 1,062,556 contracts was actually near a record high on Friday. here are the details:

CBOE total: 0,63
ind. equity: 0,527
index options, total: 1,35
OEX : 1,176
SPX : 1,54

so the p/c ratios are clearly improving, but as i said, this is the first high reading after months of extremely low (record low in fact) readings on the overall CBOE ratio.

regards,

hb
