<ZO, you are very fearful of anything posted here, except anything posted by yourself. It is hard to believe that anyone here is so gullible that they would make any investment decisions based upon statements made by individuals on this site. But go ahead, continue with your efforts to purify this site. Newbridge is almost gone anyway.<

In any event, this is all pretty silly. Given the trading volumes, takeover speculation, etc., nothing posted on SI is going to have material impact on the price of NN. Its all about a buyout or no buyout. If the buyout occurs the price will be locked into the price of ALA. If it doesn't the price will be down in the low 20's very quickly.

There is nothing that anyone could say on SI that will manipulate this price...period.

Larry Pollock, the subject of the thread is Newbridge Networks -- not Z and/or Doug. Please let us know the next time you have a thought about NN.

IMO, one or more companies other than Alcatel will bid or re-bid by mid-week. The expected alliance has potential to alter balance of power significantly.

Analysts and journalists may be stunned by final price tag. Only a WAG but a really good WAG, I believe.
