I understand. I am for tolerance, although against some things, like gay marriage. On the one hand, I think that some people have so strong an orientation that they should not be criticized, especially when there is no real social harm done. On the other, I do not think that we can afford to further undermine sexual norms by in effect saying that everything is just equal. I have objected to some of your heated denunciations before, on the grounds that they are unnecessarily offensive to those who might be burdened with a homosexual orientation, but, as I have said to nihil, found you in all other instances sensitive to prejudice, and willing to denounce it, and therefore I have not pressed too hard on the issue, which does not often come up anyway.....Nihil occasionally says something with which I agree, or which constitutes a contribution. He does, however, frequently go out of his way to provoke, and thus, it is not exactly a surprise that some are provoked.......
