Brian, Thanks for the post on TSCM. Personally, I'm glad I paid my $125 for a lifetime membership here than $10 a month at TSCM. Although I only follow the AMAT thread religiously, I do like to look around at other message boards and seem to trust what is written here than anywhere else.

I find it kind of funny that I spend so much time reading the AMAT posts. Since I bought into this stock about 2 1/2 years ago(post'97 split) I have decided this will be my core long-term holding. My goal is to sell a little AMAT at a time starting around 2006. Hopefully I will add to this position when AMAT retreats a little. Sorry for rambling-Tom

That is a terribly researched article. How about all the spam? Anyone factor that nonsense in to the post count?

350 posts on the Yahoo CMGI thread - 348 of which said either "YEE-HAW!"; "do you think the next tick will be plus or minus"; "Trader Pete is a homo" or was a spam for some penny stock board. I owned Flycast and now CMGI after the buy out - and I wouldn't trade SI for 10 Yahoos or Raging Bulls.

Brian, there are exceptions: the Yahoo KLIC board is excellent and almost free of acrimony.
