I recently read an article that the Japanese government will be borrowing directly from the banks as a means of financing the budget deficit. Apparently the deficit is so huge they are worried about its impact on interest rates if they just come to market.

Isn't that a potential negative for the Yen that offsets some of the positives?

You can't get more inflationary than that can you?
