I don't disagree with any of that.

I DO have trouble putting some of the pieces together.

Much of the cash flow to support stocks is thought to come from 401Ks and IRAs. Off the top of my head I can't come up with a good way to tie that into borrowing to buy stocks as they must be cash accounts. It would sound funny to say that people are depressing their take-home pay to fully fund their 401Ks. BWDIK? -g-
