On Obelisk, you are quite welcome....

On The Invisible Man, to my chagrin I have never finished the novel. From what I have read, my impression is that it is a classic expression of a "revolution of rising expectations", and represents black progress as much as black complaint, at the time.....

On Keyes, I am sorry that he was shut out. They could have noted some of the better points, since it was not a dog and pony show, and they had the space. I already said that he is probably the best man. I am glad that the article clarified his religious affiliation, since I never found anything myself. I know Thomas was Catholic, and is now Episcopalian. Maybe I just reached for the wrong "memory file"......

I would like to note that Dubya did very well in South Carolina, by the way.....
