O.T. Jay, I read that Asia Pacific and JH Whitney bought Acme Landis (HK616 - US ALAHF)--what will they use bathroom fixtures for?; Sega negotiating for Cheong Ming (HK 1196 - CGMGF); NTT is looking at IFTA Pacific (HK371 - is that Wanon WNIHF?), and Yahoo! may be looking at Wah Lee (HK 1215 - WAHEF). Except for 616 where sale is completed, any truth to the other rumors. I think I also saw that trading has been halted on 1196 for quite awhile. Are the symbols correct--or maybe you would not know the OTC foreign symbols for these companies. Also hear a rumor that Egana Int'l (HK48 - EGNIF) was coming to Nasdaq. Since they sell for HK$ .435, that must be a bad rumor. Merry Caution: This is all strictly rumor and no one should take any of this as a tip to buy any of the stocks!
