Pi, I like your target. Got to let EFNT feel our momentum.

I was reading EFNT's S-1 today and it seems whatever special agreement WSTL may have had with TI, its also true for EFNT. TI has a big stake in EFNT and even makes the ASIC for them. That arrangement got started in February 1997 according to their S-1, which would be right after the final Amati merger. It includes preferred pricing on TI chips for EFNT. The same that was supposed to be true for WSTL. I don't know if the TI relationship with WSTL is over or simply irrelevant with WSTL giving more credence to Alcatel and ADI chips as market leaders. WSTL's S-3A after June'99 does not even mention TI though previous ones did.

There is probably an interesting story behind the scenes here. TI is supposed to have some big announcement on the 22nd. May have to do with lower power consumption in its DSPs.

Michael, hoping to see you at 40.
