The author was a promoter by the name of George Chelekis. He did most of his "work" on the former Alberta and Vancouver stock exchanges in the mid 1990s. I was a subscriber to some of his material and it was very well researched and written. I think he actually started out as a journalist. To this day I've never encountered a better promoter. He would dish out material like this in between stock plays (during the winter here in Canada). Eventually he was convicted of fraud.
