Jetter: Thanks for your thoughts on the MIR controversy.

Although I'm not part of A@P's private sight, I sure see a lot of the goings-on revealed in the more-public sites.

What I don't understand is the mentality by some that says if we don't agree with the opinion or tactics of others, that we attack them with insults and venom. I will only put up with someone's nonsense for so long before I simply put them on ignore (literally or figuratively) and encourage others to do the same.

Basically, all that happened, to my knowledge, between MIR and the other A@P private members was that she spammed her longs too much on that board. Why not simply tell her to knock it off and then ignore her. The actions of Pluvia (especially the sexist name calling) was not only uncalled for, but revealed that the argument was more about ego than anything else.

I'm not defending ANYONE'S actions in this matter. I simply find the whole incident a bit childish.
