What do you expect of the only state in the union still flying the confederate flag?

I am a Everett Dirksen Republican, A lot of people only remember Mr.Dirksen from his messy hair and the fact that they named a building after him in Washington D.C.
Dirksen tended to speak his mind in the senate and to the public. He didn't care if Roosevelt , Truman, Eisenhower, or Johnson liked what he had to say. He said it to help the citizens of the United States. Like Dirksen,
John McCain is fighting for the American people. He is a patriot, above board as a senator and will not need on the job training when he gets to the white house. Reminds me a lot of Everett Dirksen. On that same note McCain is bringing the chance of taking back the system from the inside the beltway gang, holding them accountable for their actions. And that is causing his problems.
The race should be good from here on out.

Tim, the Republican machinery is in the solid control of Bush and Pat Robertson. They will be able to manipulate the delegate selection in most states. In California for example, only the votes of previously registered Republicans are counted for delegate selection, regardless of popular vote winner. Thus Bush will win the nomination but the process will drive many moderate voters to the Democrat camp in both the Presidential and Congressional elections. A re-run of the impeachment debacle.........
