I posted a CBS Marketwatch article to that effect over on Voltaire's Porch. Vague paraphrase of one quote: "He's going to squeeze the market until the pip squeaks." The Dow has been flat for 9 months but that's not good enough for him. He's going to raise rates every single quarter until what--he gets a serious recession? I wish he'd done what Australia did then and hiked 50. This is like a lazy boa constrictor. In spite of greater growth than expected, and no inflation. What in the world does he accomplish--he's breaking something that is not only not broken, but in fantastic shape.
