Nihil, Arrogance is an inflated state of mind in which one is obsessed with one's superiority. This occurs as a result of a lack of emotional centering. To be able to come to grips with the unstable nature of the mind, one needs to set aside moments of silence and solitude in daily life, during which the mind begins to be aware of its inherent limitations. You appear to be suffering from what the people of ancient India called "the monkey mind". The monkey mind is possessed of a demon, which is a symbol of ego. When we are seized by disproportionate ego, we lose our sense of proportion. When we lose our sense of proportion, we lose our grasp of reality. Michael
