A few companies now make single cards that support multiple monitors (e.g Matrox). The cost used to be huge but has now come down to a reasonable level. However with single cards it is much easier just to upgrade on card at a time and you can hand pick the performance of each card... with a single card you have to do it all at once. Cost is about the same both ways. If I go with individual cards for each display can I continue to use the AGP card that is in my system now for my primary display and go with a couple of PCI cards for my other monitor(s). This all depends on the motherboard. With my Abit I can change the BIOS to use the AGP as the primary, just call you manufacture or read the manual/web page. However, unless you are playing high end video games you will likely not see the difference between similar PCI and AGP cards so it really might not make a difference. Best Regards KEITH
