No deskpros Its very simple: If cpq were to offer athlon deskpros all "intel inside" money is lost on the entire deskpro line. These infamous tying arrangements can be quite significant and lucrative for oems desperately looking for cost reductions to gain a competitive edge in a cut throat environment. A simple cost/benefit analysis answers your inquiry. More likely to occur is the addition of an entire new line of business skus, similar to Gateway's Select SBs. But, something tells me you already knew the real reason.
