Bush will win republic nomination but will lose to Gore in Nov as Alan Grennspan will be there to help Gore out.

It is wishful thinking, but I wouldn't rule out a Bush blowup...he's already demonstrated a propensity for such an occurence.

Roger,

Gore ain't that bad relative to GWB. Gore or Bradley don't have the power-presence of JFK or Ronald Reagan or the raw honesty of John McCain. However they are reasonable, moderate, intelligent modern leaders who won't sell-out the financial markets for cheap votes by promising big tax cuts as the government continues to spend more than it takes in (despite what the creative accounting shows).

I'd be happy to see a John McCain/Bill Bradley on an independent reform ticket. "Liberal" and "conservative" or "Democrat" and "Republican" aren't that valuable as constructs anymore.

We need to form new political alliances and definitions if our great country is going to get on with being the world's economic leader and beacon of freedom and progress in years to come.
