According to the value formula on the DJIA Greenspan has already done his work and should stop right here before he does some serious damage. Another Dow -400 points would move the market back to a buy signal. By continuing the Fed rate increases he will begin to significantly hurt capital gains tax revenues as well as consumer confidence. That in turn will negatively impact even the tech stocks and that starts a cascading effect that he has no tools to control.
