No one especially the consumer feels that any harm has been inflicted on the consumer by MSFT.The impediments you mention re open source are contained in many of my posts over the last 6 mos. Do not think that the Courts other than and above Jackson would not see the potential abuse vis a vis de facto gov't. regulation of the software industry in any of the remedies concocted by the DOJ should they prevail which they will not. Help yourself by reading MSFT's latest brief i rebuttal to the DOJ's final accusations before Jackson. The courtroom theatrics are behind us and it is case law that remains. JFD
