Canadians are a bunch of Pansies.

While the U.S. market is closed, Canadian investors are running scared like spineless cockroaches. Markets in Canada are down considerably, trading on low volume. JDU is down as much as $8 Cdn. (and counting).

I wish Americans would stop taking days off as Canadians just don't know what to do without them.

Oh yes. Very seriously. Why? If the person believed the markets are in the initial stages of a serious bear market, s/he would. In this case, the person would prefer cash instruments (money market) because these will continue to compound while the market declines.

On the other hand, if a person thought the markets were still in a major upward trend, s/he would stay in the market.

I am in the former camp at present.
