nihil, Patton only slapped one soldier with his gloves. Yes he drove his men hard but, what he did does not compare to what you have done in belittling the troops under your guidance and command. I little slap is not nearly as bad as using hypnosis to force a person to take an action he would not normally have done. When Patton first took control of the army in North Africa, they were a shoddy collection of troops who's previous commander was extremely lax in discipline and had let morale go to hell. Yes, insults were thrown by Patton but, from what you have admitted, you called what you called "feather merchants" every name in the book which, in jar head talk is a very extensive list.

I may be a little rusty on some of the aspects of specific actions of WW2 but, am far from ignorant, nor do I need any further education, especially the kind you seem to prefer. ~H~
