Jill was really nice, Daniel. At least I thought so, even when she disagreed with me. It was her goal to stay as little involved in squabbles as possible, and she was always encouraging people to act like adults. Anyone in that position has a difficult job, and while I wasn't following the situation closely, I believe that over time she became less popular. Is it obscene to discuss religion? I don't think so. If it becomes impossible to express religious viewpoints around here, then it will be the end of SI as any kind of even semi-interesting forum. I do think it is much easier to discuss in an anonymous Internet forum than face to face, when for most of us polite behavior causes us to refrain from challenging people except in the most gentle ways.
