CAT can be purchased on the US bulletin board under the symbol CMBHF. Their listing on pink sheets is not a reflection on the company but occurred because the demand for their stock in the US was so high that a market had to be made. This is the default market when a stock is in demand. It was listed there from what I understand WITHOUT involvement from CAT, who may be considering an ADR after learning about the bulletin board's reputation. Still, I think that CAT needs all the incentive we can give them to set up an ADR. John Aston is head of PR at CAT. I think the likelihood of CAT forming an ADR on NASDAQ is positively correlated with the number of calls John Aston receives with regard to this topic.
