MorpoSys is at Euro 330 now.
However, due to the somewhat difficult presentation of the number of shares, I think there is a miscalculation in your number of outstanding shares.

After a carefull look, I come to the conclusion that, at the end of the third quarter 1999, the number of outstanding shares was 3.486.469 shares (see 9 months"statement at morphosys.com. ).

There is a possibility, that after this announcement, Bayer has taken a participation, as part of an upfront payment!?

On this base the marketcapitalisation would be now: Euro 1.15053090, or US 1.133bln. Still much too high if compared to CAT, but less extreme.

Am I right?
