this is the way I see it:

Neocon's definition of relativist- you can do anything you want, belief is founded on nothing, but you don't have to believe that your belief is founded on nothing to be a relativist.

X's definition- belief is founded on nothing, all beliefs are founded on nothing (including your own) AND you must believe THIS to be a relativist- it ISN'T ok to believe your own belief is better, and still be a relativist.

We are defining relativism differently- I say you have to believe in relativism in order to be one (as much as a relativist can believe in anything) and you seem to be saying that a relativist need not believe in relativism to be one.
