My opinion of McNealy's personality is totally unrelated to my decision to invest in this company. As a manager, I believe he is extraordinary -- a hero to his troops -- insightful, visionary in a good sense, I just think that in that one regard, he overstepped prudence and the company will have to pay the price. Specifically, I think the refusal to play the game and port Solaris optimized on Itanium may prove a very costly mistake. I don't think it was a purely technological or business decision. I apologize for wasting your time about the dogs but the messages were responsive to others who were discussing even more OT topics -- I seem to remember chickens with little saddles on their backs. The truth is that most of the dog posts are made by my dogs, but that is certainly a violation of the TOU for which I must take responsibility. Thanks for your courtesy.
