David,

Yes, my comment regarding revenue growth in sequential quarters was an aggregate number and your response is accurate. My point was that PALM revenue growth was masking overall revenue losses by COMS. When compared to market growth rates in excess of 25% it's clear that COMS is losing market share faster than the market is growing... and the PALM was only masking this effect. I appreciate your more granularized look at revenues. But, even client access - although showing modest gains sequentially, lost market share.

THanks for the input on the filing times and process. I was aware of these dates and timeframes... it was just a cheap shot on my part. I've been found out :)

OG

Emerging markets growing at a whopping 47% Q on Q. According to IDC and the pundits these are areas that are slated to grow phenomenally. Now envisage that this growth rate is maintained over 4 quarters, what we have is over 500% growth. Now do some dd and see where the company stands in these markets:

1) Broadband
2) Wireless
3) LAN telephony
4) Home Networking
5) Voice over IP
6) Palm
7) Palm.net
8) PalmOS
9) e-Networks

10) Ventures in numerous startups such as FusionOne, No Wires Needed, Omnisky and many other domestic and international startups.
Palm, thanks to 3Cooooooom!!!!!!!!!!!, yes 3Com, has grown much faster than Cisco, and according to the pundits will continue to grow faster. Who ever said Palm was not 3Com? it is 100% 3Com until the IPO and will remain 80% 3Com's until it is completely spun off.

The company's investments have done phenomenally, just look at Juniper, AETH and EXTR. Their current gains on their investments in JNPR and AETH will manifest themselves on their coming financial statements.

Any fool can corroborate the facts that I have delineated, they are not opinions but pure unadulterated facts!!!!!
