Crazyman,
Thanks, I printed that out. I was at a computer show over the weekend and was trying to read the date of mfg on the Athlon. The only thing I got right was the year. <G> I don't have one handy to look at but will soon. I wonder why "A" is .18u and "C" is .25u?

While I'm printing I think will print a few "paper release" coppermines...I can offer any Mhz you want over 750.

Best regards, Jim

One more source of this type of info and more is; mist.co.uk

BTW, per this site, the number "23" denotes Dresden as the source of manufacture.
HTH,
JohnD

Re: "I'm not sure what the rest of the numbers on the second row indicate."

No doubt those are tracking numbers which allow AMD to identify the specific test lot and probably the fab lot(s) which composed it. This gives much greater granularity than simply work week and assembly site. This information would go into a database which allows AMD to compare final test yields and binsplits plus burnin fallout with fab indicators and over time better track and tune their process.
