It will be interesting to see what SUNW's strategy for what I've termed the "post-server" era is. I haven't seen it yet. I agree Schmidt has done an amazing job of breathing new life into NOVL and I was surprised to see Gilder so keen on NDS. I need to do more research in this area. In my view the SUNW alumnus to watch is Transmeta's Dave Ditzel. I half expect either IBM or INTC to buy them out before they go public even though as an investor I'd like to see them IPO.
