Not that I would ever say any thing to condone an act of Bill Clinton but the key words in neocons remark is "Israels interests." A common assumption being that Israels interests and US interests are always one and the same. At some point, as Israel grows up, we are going to be forced to re-examine that idea.

ooops :( Sorry neocon. And I am definitely suspicious of Clintons motives in the Middle East. I think the article is rightly critical in that respect.
