Uhhhhh...Its called transaction processing. IBMs bread and butter. Hardware,Software,and Services by the boatload to enable B2B. I guess from the tone of your appends you don't believe IBM will be successful and/or some competitors will steal this business. My belief is that this market is so big that there is going to be lots of room for everyone. I think the main challenge IBM has is attracting and keeping enough qualified people in an extremely competitive recruiting environment to handle all the work.

Heres a link to Lou Gerstner's speech from last Aprils stockholders meeting detailing where he plans to see growth. It pretty much sums up everything that gets discussed on this forum over and over and over again about revenue growth opportunities, stock buybacks etc.
