Correction, investing is about making money and over a seven year period there has been little profit to show for a company exhibiting the fundamentals that barrick does, unless of course the investor is a trader. I believe an investor in gold equities is looking for the posssibility of a pronounced move in the stock price that is leveraged to the price of gold. Barrick along with others, no longer offer that kind of opportunity. Investors looking at the fundamentals you articulated in your note can find much better values in traditional growth stocks. Ken
