I don't think the SP Futures gave one that chance.

Thanks for the reminder, I have to go look at a chart.

===========================

Fugly. The news hit and you were cooked on the SP. Ran and hit the High of the day within 3 minutes. Not a freakin' chance in hell. As I recall, the elasticity in the Mini ran it even higher. They had bad ticks almost a hundred points higher in moments.

"Hi, Mr Broker. I guess I was Stopped out with my Sell Stop at 1020?"

"Yes Mr Client......Done at 1123. Nice Trade, you were one of the lucky ones. Only lost 103 points per contract."

Thud.

My son threw the Tick and 1 minute charts up on a site. You can see where it was useless to try to Exit at a reasonable Price once that news hit.

On the SP, anyway, a Short-Seller was Doomed.

1 Minute -> happy.digitaldune.net
