To Rudedog and Greaser,

I guess I am confused by conclusions that the definition is mine. It is not my definition. In addition I stated that I have a problem with the definition given by msinvestor. Greaser's definition is basically the same as mine. What greaser suggests is no different than netting out up volume (volume on an up price from previous close) multiplied by price and down volume (volume on a down price from previous close) multiplied by price. It is msinvestor that is confused.

enough on this subject. In conclusion, msinvestor's definition of mf is wrong and its mf graphs are likewise wrong. thanks for the input everyone.
