shootie, my dear, in all seriousness, you've looked at my profile. I am certainly no spring chicken! As I've posted on "feelies" in response to all the supposed intense attractiveness of young and pretty women, I'm 48, a little overweight for my taste, and suffer from rosacea--not what would think of when mentally designing sexual allure. Yet I have no difficulty in attracting high-quality men, even men notably younger than I. So much for the youth mystique!

I don't want to be the envy of other women. I'd like to inspire them to rejoice in their vibrancy and go for the best that the world has to offer. If a woman carries herself with pride, knows that sex and sexuality are wonderful, and knows that she is attractive, other people will know it too. Someone with whom I used to work, the date I turned down for Saturday night because I meant to clean (blush), said to me on the 'phone today, "Don't take this wrong: I respect your intelligence and your professional abilities enormously and always have. But you are also one hell of a babe." At my age, that's saying something.

I am amazingly fortunate in my lover: I read the cover story in yesterday's NY Times magazine and thought, these poor people are chasing what is natural when we are together. It's not a perfect relationship: There are limitations. But there is a great deal of love and the sex is out of one's dreams. I am a lucky woman.

Fettucini sounds great. The imagination is already up and running. I'll render a report when I have investigated some of the possibilities. Meanwhile, have you tried honey?
